Please read this alongside our Terms of Service. It sets out, plainly, what FAYNee is and isn't responsible for.

1. We're a marketplace, not the service provider

FAYNee connects customers who need a service with independent service providers who offer one. Providers are not employees, agents, contractors, or representatives of FAYNee — they operate their own independent businesses. FAYNee is not a party to any agreement a customer and provider reach, and doesn't supervise, direct, or control how a provider carries out their work.

2. No guarantee of quality, licensing, or outcome

We don't independently verify the licenses, qualifications, insurance, or background of service providers beyond the information they provide at registration and whatever the community rating system reflects. A high rating reflects other users' past experience, not a guarantee about future work. Use your own judgment when choosing a provider — check their rating history, ask questions in chat before accepting a bid, and confirm anything (licensing, insurance, specific qualifications) that matters for your job directly with them.

3. Payment is between you and the other party

FAYNee does not process, hold, or guarantee any payment. The price shown on a bid is what the provider is quoting — how and when payment happens is agreed directly between customer and provider, outside the platform. FAYNee is not responsible for payment disputes, non-payment, overcharging, or any financial loss arising from a transaction between users.

4. No liability for the work itself

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FAYNee isn't liable for any loss, damage, injury, or dispute arising from a job arranged through the platform — including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, incomplete or unsatisfactory work, or missed appointments. Our "work not completed" and rating features let a customer flag a bad experience and move on to another provider, but they're reporting tools, not a warranty, refund, or compensation mechanism.

5. Automated checks aren't perfect

Uploaded photos are screened by an automated moderation system before they're shown to other users, and we run automated checks aimed at catching accounts run by the same person on both sides of a job. Both are genuine safety measures, and both can occasionally miss something or flag something incorrectly. 6. Service provided "as is"

FAYNee is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times — this is an actively developed, early-stage product.

7. Third-party content

The Service may show promotional listings or offers from providers or advertisers. These reflect the party that posted them, not FAYNee's endorsement. Any external links are provided for convenience — we're not responsible for the content or practices of sites we don't control.
